A Match Made in (Culinary) Heaven!

Two *star* members of the Culinary Concepts' team tied the knot yesterday!  Ben and Kelli met working at events together, and throughout their courtship continued to be integral members of our team...so who better to cater their wedding than us?  We wish them the best of luck as they move on to their future together in Boston--but we will definitely miss them!

DAMASK!! can't get enough of Damask!

What's damask, you're wondering?  Well it's only THE HOTTEST craze to hit weddings since the candy station!  The fun, retro pattern is showing up everywhere from favors and napkins, to table runners and invitations.  Culinary just added some elegant black and white lamour damask napkins to our inventory--make sure to ask us about them--an easy way to spice up the look of your tables!

I'm loving these fun, origami-style boxes for guest favors.  The black and white contrast great with a bright accent like lime or fuchsia.

ALERT!! Asparagus shortage!

Straight from our produce supplier:

The green asparagus market continues to be very short of product and subsequently high in price. The reduced volumes are due to ongoing weather issues in both Central Mexico (wet) and Peru (cold). We are currently receiving approx. 25% of the weekly volumes that we should be getting and arrivals are sporadic due to the time taking to clean and pack the asparagus at the shed. We do expect supplies to be short for the next 2 – 3 weeks.

SOLUTION?  White AND Purple asparagus are available, cheaper than green--so add some color to your vegetables!

Kind words from this past weekend's grateful F.O.B.

(Father of the Bride for those out of the loop!)

Culinary Concepts!

Everything was so wonderful....better than we could have ever imagined.     The first thing that our daughter said when getting to the venue and seeing the whole set up was it was better than she ever remembers seeing it before.    Your staff was great....the food was really good.

We would in a second recommend your company to anyone and everyone.....and we are VERY HAPPY we picked you and your company and your employees were all the best!    Everyone says that was the best wedding they have ever been to...and your company was the number one reason.

Thank You SO much!

Cute food idea of the day!

Now, I'm not usually one for gimmicky food presentation ideas, but this one was just TOO CUTE not to share.  Perfect for a child's birthday party, an office celebration, or a picnic, this dessert pretty much combines the 2 best sweets around--cookies and cupcakes!  Definitely try this one at home!
